THE CLAY COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS POSTPONING OUR SPRING OPENING
AT THIS TIME, WHILE WE MONITOR THE CIRCUMSTANCES CONCERNING THE
COVID-19 CRISIS. THE APRIL 6 MEETING IS CANCELLED AND THE MUSEUM WILL
REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL A LATER DATE. WHEN WE OPEN, WE WILL BE FEATURING
THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE WOMAN'S SUFFERAGE MOVEMENT IN A SPECIAL
DISPLAY AT THE MUSEUM. OUR THREE LITTLE FREE LIBRARIES WILL BE STOCKED
AND AVAILABLE FOR USE FOR THE CHILDREN TO USE WHILE SCHOOL IS OUT.

On November 4, 2016 George N. Craig
was inducted into the IVMHOF and that
award was received by his daughter,
Margery Farnsworth from San Diego, CA.
Thank you to Margery for coming back to
Indiana to recieve this award. She was joined
by her nephew and niece, cousins and
Lynn and Donna Hostetler from Brazil at
the banquet.
On November 13, 2015, Charles B Hall was
inducted in the Indiana Veteran's Military Hall
Of Fame, Indianapolis. Charles T Hall
accepted this honor on behalf of his
father and the Hall Family. In attendance
at this event was Danielle Mace, Maxine
Payne (Charles B. first wife) and B.J. Mayes.
